Baker McKenzie has advised VINCI Energies on the acquisition of the R + S Group, one of Germany's leading providers of sustainable utility engineering services. The acquisition will enable VINCI Energies to strengthen and complement its expertise, particularly in the areas of building, marine, and industrial technology, as well as human resources and IT services. The transaction is still subject to approval by the relevant competition authorities.

The R + S Group, headquartered in Fulda, has been established on the market for over 35 years. It offers services in electronic building, marine, and industrial technology as well as in the field of heating, ventilation and air conditioning technology. The R + S Group operates flexibly, innovatively, and with foresight, focusing on sustainable supply technology. The acquired R + S Group has 16 locations throughout Germany. In 2024, it generated sales of EUR 191 million with more than 1,200 employees.
