Wong & Partners advises clients on some of the most innovative corporate transactions in the Asia Pacific market, such as arranging financing for Phase 3 of the Battersea Power Station redevelopment, a US$1.9 billion mixed-use project in London led by a Malaysian consortium of investors. An entrepreneurial culture, robust regulatory framework and steady economic growth make Malaysia one of the best places to do business in Asia. Working closely with our colleagues in the region, our Malaysia lawyers support multinationals and investors seeking new opportunities in the ASEAN Economic Community.

We advise on complex Banking & Finance transactions, M&A, IPOs, primary and secondary offerings, and Shariah-compliant Sukuk issuances. We manage every stage of investments and divestitures, offering practical advice on establishing operations, setting up funds, spinoffs, management buyouts and buy-ins, and acquisition financing.

Recognized as an "Employer of Choice" in Malaysia by Asian Legal Business for six years running, we strive to create an inclusive workforce and offer two career programs to give young talent the opportunity to gain work experience. Those programs include:

Student Attachment Scheme: This four-week course for third-year undergraduate students enables them to work with partners, associates and trainees across practice areas, as well as attend seminars, presentations and networking events.

Our Kuala Lumpur office undertakes CSR initiatives that improve the wellbeing of the people in our community, including conducting fundraisers for Kasih Pertiwi Home, an organization that provides training and education forHIV positive children. .

We also provided pro bono advice to the American Malaysian Chamber of Commerce in establishing its Junior Achievement Malaysia Chapter that provides children with skills to become entrepreneurs, and worked with Persatuan Peminat Buku Bergambar to develop a workshop for NGOs on copyright laws in Malaysia.

Recently, we also sponsored the All Women's Action Society's White Ribbon Campaign to raise public awareness of gender-based violence.
