We have been active in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region since 1979 when we founded our first associated office in Riyadh (Legal Advisors, Abdulaziz Alajlan & Partners). In 1985 our associated office in Cairo was established (Helmy, Hamza & Partners) followed by Bahrain in 1998, Abu Dhabi in 2009, Doha in 2011, Casablanca in 2012 (Nasrollah & Associés - Baker McKenzie) and Dubai in 2013. In 2014, a second branch of Legal Advisors, Abdulaziz Alajlan & Partners was established in Jeddah to enhance our offering in the Kingdom.

We have over 30 partners and 80 associates who operate as an integrated team, often with colleagues from the Baker McKenzie offices worldwide. Our holistic approach eliminates logistical issues when coordinating international and local counsel, thus resulting in less duplication, enhanced efficiency, lower costs and improved levels of service. Our strategic locations and access to Baker McKenzie's global network of legal resources means we can advise clients on a wide range of international and domestic matters.

Many of our lawyers are fluent Arabic speakers and are qualified to practice in the UK, US and Middle East. We work readily with both English and Arabic documentation in handling all aspects of a transaction or case.
