Austria and Switzerland: Forthcoming Revision of Double Taxation Agreement

The amending protocol provides for a comprehensive modernization of the DTA, in force since 1974, and aligns it with current OECD standards.

Dispute Resolution, Compliance and White-Collar Crime: Post-M&A disputes, distribution law disputes and disputes arising from restructuring and insolvency proceedings are at the core of most litigation proceedings. We are one of the leading law firms in the country for national and international arbitration proceedings. White-collar crime proceedings, compliance advice and internal investigations are the third focus area of the practice.
Our Employment team is market-leading in advising on restructurings and transformation processes. Our day-to-day business focuses on individual and collective employment law advice and on negotiations with works councils and unions.
Our IP law team advises national and international companies on all matters concerning their intellectual property. In addition, we support our clients in competition law and trade secrets matters.
Our new Public Law team mainly supports bidders in public procurement and review procedures. We are called upon for our expertise in a number of specialist areas, such as military procurement. Cross-border projects are a focus of our legal advice.
Real estate transactions, project development and tenancy law are the main focus areas of our Real Estate team. Our work ranges from asset deals for residential and retail properties, to the structuring of share deals in the hotel and industrial sectors.
Our Tax practice advises companies on all aspects of tax law and represents them in appeal proceedings and fiscal criminal proceedings. A particular focus lies on cross-border restructurings and real estate transactions, as well as on international tax audits.
