We support our lawyers’ professional growth through our Development Framework, which provides a roadmap to success by describing the legal skills and personal qualities lawyers need to achieve excellence at every stage of their careers. Our programs include:

Associate Training Program: This program provides associates with the opportunity to work in offices in other parts of the world for periods ranging from two months to two years to gain global experience and contribute to clients' strategic initiatives.

Latin America Mobility Program: This program enables mid-level and senior associates in Latin America to work in another office within the region for two to four months to expand their expertise and experience.

International Clerkship Program: This program provides law clerks with at least two years of legal study with the opportunity to spend six weeks working in a local Baker & McKenzie office and another six weeks working in an office in another part of the world.

Scholarships: We provide scholarships for our lawyers to pursue graduate studies abroad.

Our Corporate Social Responsibility program shows how we work with members of the Firm, Clients, communities, non-profit organizations and other stakeholders to address some of today’s most pressing social and environmental issues. Pro Bono and Community Service

We provide free legal services to non-profit associations and institutions selected by our Pro Bono Committee, applying the best skills and experience of our lawyers to critical social problems.

We strongly believe that volunteering activities are fundamental to develop a spirit of community support. That is why we develop high impact programs in which our members participate.

Diversity and Inclusion

We promote a diverse and inclusive culture through our initiatives and programs on Gender, LGBT+ and other issues. As a global firm, we know this approach breeds creativity, encourages a greater range of views and helps us to respond better to the needs of our clients and the communities we work in.

Sustainability

As a global Firm, it is vital to reduce the carbon footprint generated by its operation. For this reason we developed a program called B-Green, which seeks to establish a baseline by measuring our carbon footprint and set goals to reduce it in an attempt to contribute with a positive environmental impact.
