Leading global law firm Baker McKenzie has received 22 practice rankings and 26 lawyer rankings in the Chambers FinTech 2026 Guide, an improvement on 19 practice rankings and 23 lawyer rankings in the 2025 edition.
Baker McKenzie upheld Band 1 rankings in Argentina, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand and received a new Band 1 Ranking in Colombia. Germany and South Africa were also newly ranked, receiving Band 4 and Band 2 respectively.
The Firm’s lawyers also excelled in the 2026 Guide, with five new individual rankings. This included three new Band 1 and 2 rankings. Ashlin Perumall, a partner in Baker McKenzie’s Johannesburg office, also received a promotion from Band 3 to Band 1.
