Leading global law firm Baker McKenzie has advised QinetiQ Group plc on the completion of the acquisition of Avantus Federal LLC from NewSpring, for an enterprise value of USD 590 million. 
 
Avantus is a leading provider of cyber, data analytics and software development solutions to the US Department of Defence, Intelligence Commmunity and other Federal civilian agencies, and marks a major development for QinetiQ in the global security and defense sector. Avantus represents a perfect strategic fit for QinetiQ and the combination will provide a strong platform for the Group to drive further growth in the US and around the world.
