Biography
Martine Gaetan is a senior associate with Baker McKenzie's Litigation & Government Enforcement Group in Baker’s Washington, DC office. Her practice focuses primarily on corporate internal investigations, corporate compliance, and broader regulatory risk management. She has managed a number of investigations on behalf of individuals, companies, school boards and associations across a multitude of jurisdictions, interfacing with the US Department of Justice, US Securities and Exchange Commission and multilateral development banks, among others. The investigations Martine handles are primarily focused on bribery/corruption, sanctions and export controls, fraud, money laundering, and antitrust violations. She also regularly counsels clients on corporate compliance.
