Baker McKenzie has Advised Samenwerking Glasverzekering on the Sale of its Shares to Nationale-Nederlanden

Nationale-Nederlanden is acquiring Samenwerking Glasverzekering, a leading Dutch specialist insurer focused on glass repair insurance. Baker McKenzie advised Samenwerking Glasverzekering on the sale of its shares to Nationale-Nederlanden.

By combining their expertise, Nationale-Nederlanden and Samenwerking Glasverzekering aim to offer a comprehensive proposition in fire and glass insurance, supported by a digitally enabled claims repair network, while further strengthening Samenwerking Glasverzekering's long-term growth and continuity.

The transaction is subject to regulatory approval by the Dutch Central Bank (De Nederlandsche Bank).
