Koen Bos
Biography
Koen is a partner in the transactional corporate team of Baker McKenzie Amsterdam with approximately 15 years of experience. He is a member of the Firm's Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group as well as the Private Equity Practice Group. He is praised by clients for his deep corporate law knowledge and his skills to navigate complex issues in a pragmatic and result-driven manner.
Practice Focus
Koen focuses on corporate law, with particular emphasis on structuring complex transactions, such as private-equity transactions, co-investments, joint ventures and management equity participation schemes. Besides having vast experience in the private equity and venture capital domain, Koen has particular experience in the Energy, Mining and Infrastructure sectors.

- Advised Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR) on the acquisition of a majority stake in Refresco, one of the largest independent beverage contract manufacturers in the world, from PAI and BCI
- Advised Lone Star Funds on the acquisition of ERIKS from SHV
- Advised Blackstone on the acquisition of a significant stake in Esdec Solar Group from Rivean Capital
- Advised APG Asset Management and NOVEC on the creation of a new tower company with Royal KPN N.V.
- Advised Egeria on the acquisition of a majority stake in MAAS Aviation Group
- Advised Hotmart and its shareholders on the Series A investment by General Atlantic and GIC, as well as various secondary transactions
- Advised Haier Smart Home on the acquisition of the commercial refrigeration business of Carrier for USD 640 million
- Advised Arrow Electronics on the acquisition of Avelabs
- Advised Daiwa House on the acquisition of Jan Snel, a modular construction company
- Advised Galp on divestment of Angolan upstream assets
