Legal 500 has released its 2024 EMEA Guide, ranking Baker McKenzie in 277 practice areas and its lawyers in 292 categories.
The Firm has gained 53 new lawyer rankings across the region, an increase of around 10 percent on the 2023 rankings. Of these, 24 are young lawyers recognized as Rising Stars, 20 entered the Hall of Fame / Leading Individuals table, and nine are seen as Next Generation Partners. In total, 168 of the 292 Baker McKenzie lawyers are placed in the top lawyer rankings (Hall of Fame and Leading Individuals categories).
In the practice categories, the Firm received 277 rankings, including seven new practice rankings for our France, Germany, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, and UAE offices. The Firm also saw 23 improved rankings, of which nearly 80 percent climbed up to the top Tier 1 and 2 rankings. In total, this year 169 of these 277 practice rankings (61 percent) are either Tier 1 or Tier 2 rankings.
The Legal 500 rankings are based on a series of criteria, including work conducted by law firms over the past 12 months, experience and depth of teams, areas of specialization and ancillary services, and client feedback.
