Baker McKenzie advised CTS Corporation ("CTS"), a leading designer and manufacturer of sensors, actuators and electronic components, on the acquisition of Swiss-based maglab AG ("maglab"), a company with expertise in magnetic system design, primarily focused on custom current sensing and position sensing solutions.

With this purchase, CTS strengthens its electrification portfolio as maglab has in-depth expertise in magnetic system design and current measurement solutions for use in e-mobility, industrial automation and renewable energy applications. This expertise, coupled with CTS' commercial, technical and operational capabilities will position the company to advance its status as a recognized innovator in electric motor sensing and controls markets.
