Baker McKenzie advised CMB International Capital Limited ("CMBI"), the financial adviser to the offeror, Falcon Holding LP ("Falcon"), in connection with its acquisition of approximately 70.92% shareholding in Shandong Fengxiang Co., Ltd. ("Shandong Fengxiang") and the mandatory general offer for all the issued H shares in Shandong Fengxiang (other than those already owned by or agreed to be acquired by Falcon).

Falcon is a limited partnership whose general partner is Falcon Holding GP Limited, a company directly 100% owned by PAG Capital Limited.  

Shandong Fengxiang is a white-feathered broiler meat exporter and retail enterprise of chicken meat food in China. Shandong Fengxiang's H shares are listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

A cross-practice team of transactional specialists worked on this transaction, led by Capital Markets Partner Christina Lee. Also involved in this transaction were Partner Brian Wong and Associate Michael Chau from the capital markets team; and Partner Derek Poon and Associate Curtis Tse from the private equity team, who advised on the PE aspects of the transaction.
