Baker McKenzie has advised Orient Capital (Hong Kong) Limited as the sole financial adviser and Orient Securities (Hong Kong) Limited as the sole global coordinator, sole bookrunner and sole lead manager, in DFZQ's H share rights issue.

东方证券股份有限公司 is a joint stock company incorporated in the People's Republic of China and carrying on business in Hong Kong as 東方證券(in Chinese) and DFZQ (in English) (Stock code: 600958.SH and 3958.HK). It offers comprehensive one-stop professional integrated financial services comprising securities, futures, asset management, investment banking, investment consultancy and securities research.

The aggregate net proceeds raised under the A+H share rights issue amounted to approximately RMB 12.6 billion. Proceeds from the rights issue will be used to increase investment and promote development of the investment banking business, develop wealth management and securities financing businesses and promote the transformation of wealth management business, strengthen sales and trading business and forge the company into a financial service provider along the whole value chain, and also for other working capital arrangements.
