Biography

David Yadid is a senior associate in the Baker McKenzie London Employment department. David joined the Firm in September 2017 as a trainee before qualifying in September 2019. He has completed secondments at BP and Comcast during this time with the firm.

Practice Focus

David advises on a broad range of both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters. His main areas of focus are day-to-day HR management, employment disputes, and employment investigations. He has also advised on TUPE and modern slavery issues. He has experience in advising a wide range of clients across a range of industries and sectors.

Representative Legal Matters

  • Advised a multinational company on allegations of sexual harassment, gross misconduct, modern slavery and forced labour issues across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Assisted a design company with its investigation into two senior individuals following allegations of misconduct, and defending resulting litigation from the same.
  • Advised a security company on the investigation of sexual harassment allegations made against a management employee by a junior colleague.
  • Advised a global multinational employer on its return to office procedures and the restructuring of its sales organisation.
  • Acted for a global multinational chemical company in its defence of racial discrimination allegations made by a former employee.
  • Acted for a fintech company in defending whistleblowing allegations made by a former employee.
  • Advised a major pharmaceutical company on the issuance of new contracts to its entire employee population, as well as ongoing day-to-day HR issues.
