
Grace Shao
Biography
Grace Shao is the managing partner of Baker McKenzie’s Taipei office. She currently serves as the head of the Intellectual Property (IP) and Technology Practice Groups and possesses extensive experience in IP strategy and enforcement, particularly within the pharmaceutical, high-tech, luxury goods and entertainment sectors.
She has received numerous accolades, including being named one of the "Top 250 Women in IP Worldwide" in 2019 & 2025, one of the "Top 100 Female Litigators in Asia-Pacific" in 2021, and consistently recognized as one of the "Top 100 Lawyers in Taiwan" by Asia Business Law Journal, establishing her as a preferred attorney in the field of intellectual property on the international stage.

- Represented a famous IC design company to file complaint of firmware copyright infringement against its competitor, and received a substantial settlement award.
- Represented copyright holder organizations against infringers in digital media for anti-piracy program and received favorable results.
- Represents famous brands and multinational companies in enforcing trademark and copyrights, as well as handling anti-counterfeit programs.
- Coordinating and handling cross-border brand protection programs, including customs measures and Internet trademark infringement issues.
