Erin Karnig
Biography
Erin Karnig is an associate in Baker McKenzie's Chicago office and a member of the Firm's Employment and Compensation Practice Group.
Prior to joining Baker McKenzie, Erin practiced employment litigation and counseling at a firm nationally renowned for its employment law practice and served as a law clerk at a Fortune 500 company assisting with their creation and application of COVID-19 policies.
Practice Focus
Erin advises major US and multinational employers on a wide spectrum of domestic and cross-border employment matters, including wage and hour compliance, employee classification, restrictive covenants, terminations, and leaves of absence. Erin also provides due diligence on employment matters in various cross-border transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs, and reorganizations.
