Baker McKenzie has advised Emeren Italia in the sale of an 82 MWp agri-photovoltaic plant to a leading operator in the renewables sector in Italy.
Emeren is a developer of utility-scale solar power and battery storage projects with a geographically diversified pipeline in various stages of development. The company has over 2.5 gigawatts of projects under development (mid- to early-stage), all backed by institutional investors' capital.
Giorgio Telarico and Alberto Fornari led the Baker McKenzie finance energy team that advised Emeren, supported by Associate Francesco Ciociola and Junior Associate Camilla Bassi. The team worked in partnership with Francesco Vita, Emeren's general counsel, and the in-house legal department.
