Leading global law firm Baker McKenzie has hired Vinod Bange as a partner in the Data Privacy & Security team, which sits within the Firm's IP, Data & Technology practice. Vinod will lead Baker McKenzie's London Data Team, joining the Firm's Global Data Privacy and Security Leadership.

Vinod joins Baker McKenzie from Taylor Wessing, where he was Head of Data and Cyber and co-chaired its 29 office International Tech & Data Practice. 

Outside his practice, Vinod has a keen interest in legal tech and innovation, as well as I&D, having led Taylor Wessing's Cultural Diversity Network and delivered its first ever Race and Ethnicity Strategy..

Vinod joins Baker McKenzie's London office on October 3rd. He is the latest addition to Baker McKenzie's London Data Protection & Security team, after the recent hires in London of Paul Glass (Partner), Elizabeth Denham (Consultant) and Tamara Mackay -Temesy (Associate), and joining existing senior team members with a focus on data issues, including Julia Wilson (Partner), Kim Sartin (Partner), Francesca Richmond (Partner), Ian Walden (Consultant), Robbie Downing (Of Counsel) and Senior Associates Ben Slinn, Joanna de Fonseka, Bobby Sarkodee-Adoo, Zelander Gray and Robert Marsh. This activity sits within the wider expansion of capabilities in this target area, which includes recent hires USA hires, Cy Vance, Stephen Reynolds and Nick Merker.
