Baker McKenzie has announced the arrival of Pamela Floriani as counsel in the Tax department.

Pamela is a chartered account who has extensive experience in leading consulting firms and tax departments of prestigious law firms, where she focused on the indirect tax area.

She is also experienced in the VAT field, at the national and international level, regularly assisting Italian and foreign multinational groups in relation to ordinary advice or reorganization projects, national or cross-border, which have allowed her to develop a recognized proficiency on related VAT impacts.

Pamela has deep knowledge of the processes underlying supply chain reorganizations and related disputes by the Tax Authorities, contributing to the defense in the context of tax litigation.

Francesco Pisciotta, managing partner of Baker McKenzie and co-head of the Tax Practice Group with Michele Santocchini, commented: "Pamela's arrival confirms the growth strategy in a sector where Baker McKenzie boasts undisputed leadership and which we consider of greater interest by our clients both in terms of changing of the business models (generated by current actual geopolitics dynamics), and from the perspective of the evolution of the national and international regulations to leverage on the indirect taxes as stimulus to the economy. Pamela's wide experience, gained with the most important Italian and foreign multinationals, will allow us to offer to our clients an even broader perspective of the VAT implications on the projects we are involved in."
