Biography
Artur joined Baker McKenzie as counsel in 2021 and works in the area of restructuring and insolvency. Prior to that, he worked for two international law firms in Frankfurt. Artur studied law at the University of Tuebingen, where he also earned his doctor's degree in law. He further received an LL.M. in Corporate Law from University College London (UCL) and a MSt. in Legal Research from the University of Oxford. Artur was admitted to the German bar in 2015. He is a professor for law at the University of Applied Science IU Internationale Hochschule and has authored numerous publications on restructuring and insolvency law.
Practice Focus
Artur's practice focuses on international restructuring and insolvency law. He advises German and international corporations, shareholders, creditors and other stakeholders on all aspects of international restructuring and insolvency law. He also advises on distressed M&A transactions.

- Advised MAT Holdings on the sale of its subsidiaries to AEQUITA.
- Advised (insolvent) Gienanth Group on the sale of its subsidiaries in Steyer (Austria), Eisenberg (Palatinate), Kulmbach and Fronberg.
- Advised CV MK23 Frankfurt GmbH on the restructuring of the CANYON construction project.
- Advised Gienanth Group in connection with restructuring in self-administration.
- Advised lenders on the financial restructuring of PIA Automation Group.
- Advised SIG-i Capital on the financing of FLABEG Group.
- Advised Tencent in connection with the acquisition of Gorillas by Getir.
- Advised MicroVision on acquisition of Ibeo Automotive Systems out of insolvency.
- Advised a consortium of creditors led by Commerzbank AG and Deutsche Bank AG as co-arrangers on the adjustment of the group financing of Woco Franz Josef Wolf Holding GmbH.
- Advised Pacoma Holding S.à r.l. on the sale of the Pacoma Group to the US group Legget & Platt (L&P).
- Advised AKA Ausfuhrkredit-Gesellschaft mbH as (secured) lender in the context of the insolvency proceedings of MV Werften Group.
