Petra Jilgová-Benešová
Biography
Petra Jilgová-Benešová heads the Prague Office Corporate Registration Department of Baker McKenzie. She supervises all client corporate changes and their subsequent registration with the Commercial Register. Petra graduated from the Law Faculty of the Charles University in Prague in 1997.
Petra joined the Prague Office of Baker McKenzie in 2001. Before joining Baker McKenzie, she worked at the Legal Department of the Securities Commission, being a member of the team that between 1999 and 2000 oversaw revision of the licenses of individual capital market entities granted under previous legislation.
Practice Focus
Petra renders consulting services mostly in the area of corporate law, with a focus on international clients, and in the area of mergers and acquisitions. She provides complex structuring and regulatory advice in connection with mergers, acquisitions — including privatization transactions — and corporate restructurings.
