Emmanuel Escamilla Aguilar
Biography
Emmanuel began his legal career as a summer intern at Baker McKenzie in 2022 in the Juarez office, where he joined the corporate and securities team and gained valuable exposure to transactional law and corporate governance. Later he joined the firm as a full time law clerk in the Corporate and Energy, Mining, and Infrastructure Industry Group at the Ciudad Juarez office. Currently as an associate, Emmanuel focuses his practice in Real Estate, Energy, Gas, and Oil, providing legal advice for the development and financing of projects for both Mexican and foreign multinationals. He also advises on regulatory matters for various companies in the energy and real estate sectors. Additionally, Emmanuel has experience in the Immigration legal practice group, where he assists Mexican and foreign multinationals in obtaining legal immigration documentation and managing procedures for their foreign employees.

Emmanuel focuses his practice in Real Estate, Energy, Gas, and Oil, providing legal advice for the development and financing of projects for both Mexican and foreign multinationals and sales, purchase and leasing of mayor Real Estate operations. He also advises on regulatory matters for various companies in the energy and real estate sectors, and advises on general corporate such as corporate restructuring, contracts, due diligence procedures, and advice on foreign investment projects in Mexico.
Additionally, Emmanuel has experience in the Immigration legal practice group, where he assists Mexican and foreign multinationals in obtaining legal immigration documentation and managing procedures for their foreign employees.

- Assisted clients in the draft and negotiation of power agreements, as power generators, power traders and final users.
- Assisted on representing foreign clients to develop and operate oil and gas and petrochemicals projects in Mexico

- Advice national and multinational companies on employee’s immigration matters and advice on obtaining and drafting immigration documents.
