Practice Focus
Geert advises clients on all aspects of commercial and consumer protection law. He has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements (sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, agency, franchising, selective distribution, sales) both in business-to-business and business-to-consumer contexts. He also advises clients on regulatory issues, marketing, promotion, labelling and advertising of consumer products, particularly food products, pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
He often works on pan-European projects, assisting clients in managing the differences between EU Member States' local laws in a coordinated manner. His practice also includes commercial litigation, including pre-litigation assistance, litigation and settlement negotiations.
