Maria Batlouni
Biography
Maria Batlouni practices in the Transactional - Real Estate Group of Baker McKenzie in Paris, which she joined in January 2013.
She was elected Partner in July 2026.
Maria has dual French-Australian citizenship.
Prior to joining Baker McKenzie, Maria worked as a trainee for several law firms in Paris, including White & Case LLP and Linklaters, in addition to the Office of the General Counsel of NYSE in New York.
Practice Focus
Maria assists French and foreign investors on real estate transactions, setting-up of real estate investment funds (including OPCIs), sales and acquisitions of real estate assets, joint-venture agreements, sale & lease-back transactions, asset, development and investment management, real estate structured financing and financial restructuring operations. She advises clients on all types of real estate assets (office, retail, hotels, logistics, data centers, etc.).
Maria is notably a member of our Hotels, Resorts and Tourism Group and has significant experience negotiating hotel management agreements and off-plan commercial leases (on behalf of owners and operators).
She is also a member of our Technology, Media and Telecommunications group and acts on behalf of investors, operators and lenders in connection with data center construction projects.
