Santiago Barrera
Biography
Santiago graduated with a law degree from the Universidad de los Andes with a minor in business management, specializing in commercial law from the same university. He joined Baker McKenzie in 2022 as a junior associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group. Prior to joining Baker McKenzie, Santiago worked in an important law firm and in a multinational company in the BPO industry, where he handled intellectual property, copyright, privacy and data protection matters.
Practice Focus
Santiago has experience advising national and international clients on the management and protection of their intellectual property rights. His practice focuses mainly on trademark and copyright matters.
He has also worked designing strategies for compliance with privacy and data protection regulations.
