Global law firm Baker McKenzie has added Julia Webster to its International Commercial & Trade Practice as a Partner in Toronto. Julia brings significant customs, anti-corruption and international trade experience, adding further depth to the Firm's Canada-based team of trade lawyers.

Julia is a disputes and international trade lawyer and a Certified Customs Specialist. She has advised companies on trade remedies, free trade agreements, blocking measures, customs compliance, anti-corruption laws, economic sanctions, supply chain ethics, and cross-border M&A. She is a tested advocate and has extensive commercial and trade litigation experience. She has appeared before the Canadian International Trade Tribunal, the Federal Court, the Federal Court of Appeal, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and a number of administrative tribunals across Canada. She also counsels clients on sensitive internal investigations which have included multi-jurisdictional legal proceedings, and she advises domestic and international clients on Canadian lobbying laws and election advertising.
