HHP Law Firm also acted as the lead counsel for MUFG throughout the acquisition of PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk, particularly on the final step, which involved complying with the complex Single Presence Policy in banking ownership, in which we advised MUFG on merging Bank Danamon and MUFG's existing subsidiary, PT Bank Nusantara Parahyangan Tbk (Bank BNP).

In the Energy, Mining & Infrastructure industry, our lawyers advise investors, developers, lenders, service contractors and off-takers on landmark transactions and power generation projects. We have worked on several of Indonesia’s private sector concessions for toll road and water project developments, as well as major oil and gas projects.
To help foreign and domestic companies protect their IP rights in Indonesia's difficult enforcement environment, our Intellectual Property team investigates potential infringers, carries out cease and desist campaigns, conducts anti-counterfeiting raids and represents clients in IP litigation.
We are the only law firm in Indonesia with a full-service Tax practice that advises clients on tax structuring, transfer pricing and tax litigation. Our Corporate/Commercial lawyers provide guidance to domestic and foreign companies planning to invest or already doing business in Indonesia.
Our career development programs for legal professionals include:
- Internship Program: Law students receive direct experience working with our lawyers during three-month internships, including our summer internship from July to September.
- Trainee Associate Program: This one-year training program is for law graduates with one to two years’ experience who have recently joined as an associate in our rotation program. Trainee associates receive on-the-job training by rotating through different practice groups and attending a professional development program to strengthening their corporate law knowledge.
