Biography

Tom is a senior associate in the Corporate Finance practice group in London. He joined the firm in 2015 as an associate having previously trained in-house at Virgin Money. He has also undertaken a secondment to Credit Suisse sitting in the Investment Banking and Capital Markets (Legal) team.

Tom's practice comprises a mix of UK PLC advisory, corporate reorganisations, public M&A and EMEA equity capital markets transactions. He focuses mainly on the UK, US and European markets, with a particular interest in the financial services and industrials sectors. He acts for both corporates and banks.

Practice Focus

Since joining Baker McKenzie, Tom has established a corporate governance practice which encompasses PLC advisory for listed companies and corporate reorganisations for a range of multinational clients. Tom has also worked on a wide range of high profile public M&A transactions, including consortium, hostile and competitive offers, acting for a range of bidders and targets, and, financial advisors on cash confirmation exercises. He also has extensive equity capital markets experience including IPOs, demergers of premium listed companies, several redomiciliations and a number of other primary and secondary offerings.
