Jordan Olson
Biography
Jordan Olson is an associate in Baker McKenzie's Los Angeles office and is a member of the North America Transactional Practice Group. Jordan began his career with the Firm as a summer associate in Baker McKenzie’s San Francisco office in 2017. Prior to joining the Firm, Jordan was a production editor for the Hastings Law Journal and served as a board member on the Hastings Moot Court Team.
Practice Focus
Jordan advises public and private companies on a wide range of transactional matters, including cross-border and domestic corporate reorganization projects, including carve-outs, spin-offs and post-acquisition integrations. In addition, Jordan advises clients on global expansions, corporate governance and general corporate law matters.
Representative Legal Matters
- Advised a NASDAQ-listed multinational semiconductor and infrastructure technology company on the international implementation of its USD 10.7 billion acquisition of a public software security company.
- Advised a NASDAQ-listed multinational technology company on the global spin-off of its automotive technology business and the pre-sale carve-out of its document imaging business.
- Advised a privately held online travel services company on establishing operations outside the United States.
- Advised a NYSE-listed multinational market measurement company on the spin-off its global measurement, data analytics and market intelligence services business.
- Advised a NASDAQ-listed multinational entertainment company on its global buy-sell conversion.
- Advised a NYSE-listed multinational pharmaceutical company on the spin-off of its consumer business.
