Biography

Andrea Mezzetti focuses his professional activity in the Information Technology & Communications area, advising domestic and international clients on issues pertaining to information technology and electronic communications, with particular reference to the regulatory aspects of new technologies and the drafting and negotiation of sector specific agreements.

Practice Focus

Andrea assists on a regular basis domestic and international clients on the following aspects: regulatory issues and compliance with laws and regulations issued by national authorities, including Ministries, Communications Regulatory Authorities, Consumer Protection Authorities, Data Protection Authorities within the EU, also participating to working groups within the Italian Communications Regulatory Authority on behalf of telecommunications providers; licensing of electronic communications services, applications for numbering resources, testing authorizations and management of frequencies; negotiation, drafting and execution of technology agreements; negotiation, drafting and execution of agreements concerning the provisions of electronic communication services, and agreements concerning the provision of information society services;

tenders for the assignment of frequencies; assistance to domestic and multinational corporation operating in the ITC sector, with advice on regulatory and legal issues around electronic communications and disruptive technologies.
