David McCredie is a partner in the Sydney office of Baker McKenzie and member of the Australian Dispute Resolution, Product Liability and Pharmaceuticals & Health Care Groups.
David's focus is on product liability litigation and advisory work, trade practices and contractual disputes, shareholders' disputes and disputes arising from mergers and acquisitions and other Corporations Act matters. Representative Legal Matters
Acting for major multinational manufacturers in representative proceedings in State Supreme courts and Courts of Appeal and the High Court of Australia, involving trade practices, product liability claims, commercial disputes and multi-jurisdictional issues.
Advising clients in the pharmaceutical, medical devices, food, FMCG, IT, aviation and other industries on product liability and product safety issues.
Advising on and conducting product recalls of pharmaceuticals, electrical products, sporting goods and food products.
Advising on product safety standards and product information standards under Commonwealth and State consumer protection legislation
Acting for several global investment banks in relation to insider trading and continuous disclosure investigations by ASIC, disputes relating to the ASX Business Rules, securities and derivatives trading disputes and general commercial disputes.
Acting in and advising on multi-jurisdictional disputes involving parties in Australia, Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, Sweden, the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada.
