Martha plays a key role in supporting the employment aspects of cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, carve-outs, spin-offs, and post-acquisition integrations, helping clients maintain business continuity while maximizing transaction value. She brings a sophisticated understanding of how developments in Mexico's labor and employment landscape affect multinational organizations, enabling clients to proactively manage workforce-related risks and implement coordinated global strategies.

• Advised on the employment aspects of numerous domestic and cross-border transactions involving public and private companies, including mergers and acquisitions, carve-outs, spin-offs, divestitures, corporate restructurings, and post-transaction integrations.
• Counseled multinational companies on employment and labor law considerations related to entering, expanding, and operating in Mexico and other jurisdictions.
• Advised clients on a wide range of employment matters, including workforce structuring, outsourcing arrangements, worker classification, compensation and incentive plans, workplace policies, remote and hybrid work arrangements, employee handbooks, codes of conduct, and performance management.
• Conducted and supported cross-border compliance and internal investigations involving employment and labor law issues across multiple jurisdictions.
• Counseled clients on executive separations, workforce reductions, site closures, business reorganizations, and other strategic employment matters across a variety of industries.
• Advised employers on labor inspections, compliance audits, and labor and employment law compliance under Mexican law.
• Represented employers in collective bargaining negotiations, union relations matters, and employment issues arising from corporate transactions and reorganizations.
