Louis Liu
Biography
Louis Liu is a senior consultant at Baker McKenzie's Taipei office. His practice covers a wide range of areas, including mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, antitrust, employment, and general corporate matters. He has advised numerous multinational clients in the IT, clean energy, financial services and venture capital sectors on various transactions, such as M&A, strategic alliances, structured financing, joint ventures, franchising, labor relations, capital markets and cross-border disputes.
Additionally, Louis has led several high-profile M&A deals, including Bank SinoPac's acquisition of Amret Plc., Fubon Financial's merger with Jih Sun, Nidec's acquisition of Chaun-Choung Tech., Macnica's acquisition of Anstek, Itoki's purchases of Shanghai Allbest and UB Office, the LINE Taiwan-Shinewant share swap, the National Development Fund's investment in United Renewable Energy, Primax's acquisition of AIC, and CCI's 9% acquisition of Xxentria's private equity.
