Mariana Kousen Vélez
Biography
Mariana Kousen is an associate at the M&A practice group of Baker Mckenzie. Prior to joining the Firm, she worked for an important local law firm and has experience in the areas of M&A, corporate law, and project finance.
Mariana graduated from Universidad de los Andes as a lawyer and has two minors in Economics and Government.
Practice Focus
Mariana has experience in the private sector, assisting national and cross-border M&A transactions. She has provided legal advice to clients in the practice areas of M&A, corporate, project finance, and commercial law for structuring different transactions. In addition, Mariana has experience drafting and negotiating transaction documents, researching legal issues, assisting with due diligence, and reviewing corporate documents.
