Biography

Dr. Silvia Karmann is an associate in the Employment Practice Group in Baker McKenzie’s Munich office. She joined the Firm in October 2020 after working four years as a research assistant at the University of Augsburg in the European Research Council funded project CHILE. She spent her legal clerkship in the jurisdiction of the Higher Regional Court in Munich and passed her second state exam in 2016.

Practice Focus

Silvia focuses her practice on all aspects of employment law-related matters, particularly on individual local disputes arising in connection with the dismissal of employees. She also advises companies on restructuring matters, as transfer & closure of business, regarding employment law.
