Hugo's practice focuses on infrastructure and real estate, advising a broad range of clients on development, investment and finance.
Hugo has particular experience in the acquisition, development and disposal of data centers and high-value real estate assets by way of complex joint venture, financing, forward funding and forward sale arrangements.

Advising a leading global data center operator on the GBP 220 million acquisition of a data center in the London area, comprised of a fully-developed building and a partially-developed building with 25,600m² of data center server space and 64MW of critical IT load once fully built out.

Advising Ooredoo Group (a MENA data center operator) on the asset level structuring of its data centers in multiple jurisdictions for its strategic partnership with Iron Mountain, allowing the expansion of its data center operations to over 120MW through a USD 1 billion medium term investment.

Advising Daiwa House on its first UK residential development project, a joint venture with Lendlease to build 259 BTS apartments at Elephant Park with a GBP 250 million GDV.

Advising a US fund on joint venturing with a UK developer to build a GBP 330 million GDV mixed-use London development comprised of 950 PBSA and 200 affordable units.

Advising a US fund on joint venturing with a UK developer in respect of a GBP 240 million forward funded retrofit of a central London office block into a medical facility with a pre-let to a major healthcare provider.
