Robby Houben
Biography
Robby Houben is a counsel in the Corporate Finance Practice Group in the Antwerp office. He joined Baker McKenzie in 2013. Robby is also a professor in company and sports law at the University of Antwerp. In addition, he regularly lectures abroad, e.g., at the universities of Zagreb, Prague and Madrid. He is the founder of the Pro League Business School, an executive program on professional football at the University of Antwerp. He was opening lecturer at the occasion of the opening of the judicial year 2022-2023 (Antwerp bar).
Practice Focus
Robby advises Belgian undertakings and foreign multinationals on all aspects of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate restructurings. He also advises on sports law. He assists clients in the negotiation and drafting of all related agreements and documentation.
