Gwyneth S. L. Gu
Biography
Gwyneth has substantial experience in cross-border transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments and joint venture transactions, and provides advice to both foreign and domestic clients on these transactional deals. She has also advised a number of foreign companies to succeed in their IPO applications on the TWSE market.

Mergers & Acquisitions
- Represented Itochu Corporation on its investment in the Taipei Financial Center Corporation (owner of Taipei 101) for USD 665 million.
- Represented BizLink, a Cayman company listed in Taiwan, on its acquisition of the carve-out of the industrial solution assets of cables and cable systems of Leoni AG, a German listed company, involving 15 production sites in Europe, North America and Asia, for EUR 450 million.
- Represented JSR Corporation on its reverse triangular merger with Crown Bioscience International, a Cayman company listed on the Taipei Exchange, for USD 370 million.
- Represented Marubeni Corporation on its investment in the Taiwan renewable energy market by acquisition of Chenya Energy for over USD 130 million.
- Represented Stanley, Black and Decker in relation to a tender offer and merger acquisition of a listed company in Taiwan, Tong Lung Metal Industry Co., Ltd. for USD 138 million.
- Represented BizLink, a Cayman company listed in Taiwan, on its acquisition of the carve-out of the electrical appliance assemblies business of Leoni AG, a German listed company, involving sites in Germany, Belgium, Slovakia, Serbia and China, for EUR 68 million.
- Represented Applied Materials, in its capital investment via private placement in Foxsemicon Integrated Technology, a Taiwan listed company for USD 60 million.
- Represented Tonghua Dongbao Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., a PRC listed company, in its capital investment via private placement in Bionime Corporation, a Taiwan listed company for USD 38 million.

- Represented Grand Ocean International Holdings Ltd., a Cayman Islands company, in relation to its application for primary listing on the TWSE.
- Represented Coland Holdings Limited, a Cayman Islands company, in relation to its application for primary listing on the TWSE.

- Represented Oceanus Group Ltd., a Singapore abalone supplier, in relation to the issuance of Taiwan Depositary Receipts.
