Biography

Jack is a senior associate in the Private Equity & Funds team in London. Jack focuses on domestic and international private equity transactions (including buyouts, joint ventures, minority investments and exits) as well as domestic and international mergers and acquisitions.

Jack completed a 12-month secondment to the Bain Capital Private Equity team in London in 2024-2025.

Practice Focus

Jack's practice focuses on advising financial sponsors generally, as well as TMT and digital infrastructure transactions and clients.

Representative Legal Matters

Jack has advised on the following select matters:

  • Advised Colt Technology Services Group on its USD 1.8 billion acquisition of the EMEA businesses of Lumen Technologies, Inc., a US listed company.
  • Advised Cellnex Telecoms, S.A. on its EUR 730 million divestment of a 49% stake in its Nordics telecom towers business to Stonepeak.
  • Advised New Mountain Capital on its USD 2.5 billion acquisition of the Applied, Food and Enterprise Services business of PerkinElmer, Inc., a US listed company.
  • Advised Arcus Infrastructure Partners on the restructuring of its European cold storage solutions portfolio group (valued north of EUR 1 billion), including a management equity roll-up, and various bolt-on acquisitions to same.
  • Advised Gulf Data Hub on the partial divestment to, and strategic partnership with, KKR of its Middle East data centre business.
  • Advised PETRONAS Chemical Group on its EUR 1.6 billion acquisition of the Perstorp Group, a leading sustainability-driven global specialty chemicals company.

Additionally, whilst on secondment to Bain Capital Private Equity, Jack advised Bain Capital on a number of acquisitions and divestments, including:

  • the acquisition of a controlling stake in Somacis, an Italian-headquartered manufacturer of printed circuit boards, from Chequers Capital, and the subsequent add-on acquisition of the AT&S Korea, a medical PCB manufacturer;
  • the EUR 4 billion acquisition of Apleona, a leading European provider of integrated facility management, from PAI Partners;
  • the acquisition of a controlling stake in Namirial, a leading provider of digital transaction management software solutions, from Ambienta, and the subsequent add-on acquisition of Signaturit from PSG Equity;
  • the acquisition of a controlling stake in Softway Medical Group, a European healthcare software provider, from Five Arrows and Naxicap Partners;
  • the acquisition by Bain Capital portfolio company Valeo Foods of I.D.C. Holding, a major manufacturer of high-quality sweets products in Slovakia; and
  • the GBP 1.3 billion sale of esure, a leading UK personal lines insurer, to Ageas.
