Baker McKenzie advised the acquirers of La Patria S.p.A., a portfolio company of A&M Capital Europe.

Founded in 1950 and headquartered in Bologna, Italy, La Patria offers a comprehensive suite of alarm monitoring and integrated security solutions to more than 13,000 small and medium sized enterprises, corporate and residential customers across a wide range of end markets throughout Northern Italy. The company operates through a state-of-the-art control center and delivers mission-critical alarm monitoring and response services through advanced systems and highly skilled personnel.

The management team, composed of Andrea Monti, Giovanni Pollicelli and Giacomo Ferrigno, participated in the transaction through an equity investment, in support of La Patria’s upcoming growth phase.

Baker McKenzie advised the acquirers with a multidisciplinary team led by Partner Paolo Ghiglione, together with Partner Anna Marina De Vivo and Associate Ginevra Nuti for corporate law matters, Partner Carlo De Vito Piscicelli for banking and finance law matters, Partner Francesco Pisciotta and Of Counsel Marzio Alessio Bucciol for tax law matters, Senior Associate Francesca Divetta for antitrust law matters and Of Counsel Tiziana de Virgilio for employment law matters.
