Global law firm Baker McKenzie has added Andrew Boyd to its North America Tax Disputes Practice in Toronto. An experienced tax litigator, Andrew joins the Firm's team of Canada-based tax practitioners advising clients through all stages of controversy.  

Andrew has broad experience at all stages of litigation, including motions, trials and appellate hearings. He has assisted taxpayers litigating the application of federal and provincial GAARs, transfer pricing, sham, window dressing, compliance with complex technical tax provisions, and whether amounts are on income account, capital account, or recognized as ECEs. He has also worked on GST disputes relating to the denial of input tax credits and whether particular services are taxable supplies, as well as on cases defining the limits of the CRA’s powers.
