Baker McKenzie Luxembourg is seeking an experienced Assistant who will be in charge with our current
Assistant of the assistantship of our Tax team which consists of 2 partners; 9 associates and 1
Knowledge Manager.

You will be in charge of:

  • Managing electronic diaries, schedules and meetings for the Partner,
  • Providing general administrative support (drafting and reviewing documents such as letters and
    emails, scanning, filing, etc.)
  • Providing specific administrative support to the whole team, like following and updating the latest tax
    codes and preparing the tax returns in a proper format
  • Providing administrative assistance and expertise on Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio documents
  • Preparing and following-up assistance for client records
  • Being in direct contact with the Tax authorities in Luxembourg
  • Compiling and preparing documents for internal and external meetings
  • Taking care of expense forms and mission orders;
  • Handling regular external and internal mail for the team;
  • Taking care of incoming calls
  • Organizing meetings and trips abroad

Experience & qualifications required:

  • A minimum of 7 years of successful experience as an assistant
  • Full proficiency in the use of Word, Outlook , PowerPoint, Excel is mandatory
  • Very good command of the use of Visio is mandatory
  • Fluency in English and French is mandatory
  • Communication skills in German or Luxembourgish would be an asset
  • Knowledge in the use of Myguichet for the filing of Tax documents
  • Strong academic, personal and technical skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, efficiency and flexibility
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Ability to be proactive and take initiative
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work flow.
