Jane Williams is a senior associate in the Technology, Communications & Commercial team at Baker McKenzie, Sydney. Jane advises clients on a range of issues relating to information technology, privacy and e-commerce, and drafts and negotiates a broad range of commercial contracts for technology and telecommunications companies. Prior to joining the Firm, Jane gained experience in general commercial and intellectual property litigation.

She regularly advises technology and online businesses on compliance with privacy and spam laws and related consumer protection and marketing issues. Jane also regularly advises on privacy compliance, reviews privacy policies and related documents, and assists with global privacy compliance and data transfer projects. She drafts and negotiates technology agreements and a range of commercial agreements, including service agreements, sponsorship agreements and consumer terms and conditions.
