Maxim V. Tsotsorin is a corporate/M&A associate in Baker McKenzie’s Palo Alto office. He has wide ranging experience in advising public and private companies on a variety of transformative transactions including venture capital financings, stock and asset acquisitions, divestitures, recapitalizations, consolidations, joint ventures and distressed investments. Prior to joining Baker McKenzie, Mr. Tsotsorin was a corporate associate in a large international law firm.

Practice Focus

Mr. Tsotsorin’s practice includes complex domestic and cross-border mergers & acquisitions, venture financings (both equity and debt), divestitures and joint ventures, representing clients ranging from serial acquirers to strategic investors to venture-backed start-ups. His practice includes advising companies on capital raising transactions, strategic investments, corporate governance and global expansion. In addition, he provides transactional and general corporate advice to private equity funds and their portfolio companies. Mr. Tsotsorin’s primary focus is in the technology and life sciences sectors.
