Willemijn Punt
Biography
Willemijn is a legal director and candidate civil-law notary in the Amsterdam Corporate Structures team, mainly focusing on global restructurings. Willemijn started her career with Baker McKenzie Amsterdam in 2014 and was seconded to our San Francisco office for 5 months in 2022. She advises on domestic and cross-border corporate restructurings and mergers and acquisitions.
Practice Focus
Willemijn focuses on the planning and implementation of complex domestic and cross-border reorganizations and advising clients on complex Dutch corporate governance matters. She advises clients on a wide range of reorganizations, including post-acquisition integration (PAI), cash repatriation, pre-transaction planning prior to an IPO, spin-off or disposal and corporate clean-up and group simplification projects. She assisted with the coordination of global restructurings for many of our clients.
