Biography

Lucía Murgueytio is an associate in the Bogota office and a member of the Real Estate and Urban Group. She has five years of experience as a lawyer in urban and real estate transactions. She graduated from Universidad de Los Andes University as a lawyer, and coursed an urban law degree in Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.

Her thesis statement "Money laundering with special emphasis in the effective and potential knowledge" received the maximum grade and was recognized and suggested for publication by the Law Department of Universidad de Los Andes.

Practice Focus

Lucía has experience in the areas of real estate, urban law and contractual law. Her practice involves foreign and local clients in urban planning advice (land use, territorial arrangement schemes, building permits application and proceeding, among others), the structuring of real estate and urban projects, trusts schemes from the project's legal and urban viability study to the draft and negotiation of the agreements and urban instruments required for the implementation of the transactions; drafting and negotiation of real estate agreements (purchase, lease, trust, construction and others), real estate and urban due diligence.
