Annika Morin
Biography
Annika Morin is an associate in Baker McKenzie's Compensation Practice Group.
Prior to joining Baker McKenzie, Annika advised public and private clients on employee benefits matters in corporate transactions, including plan design, employee benefits integration matters, and regulatory compliance under ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, and the Affordable Care Act.
Practice Focus
Annika concentrates her practice on executive compensation and employee benefits, including advising on the design, administration, operation, governance and implementation of tax-qualified retirement plans, health and welfare benefit plans and compensation arrangements for executives and directors. This includes equity and incentive plans, deferred compensation plans, severance and employment agreements, change in control plans, bonus plans, and director compensation programs. Annika also advises clients on regulatory compliance with employee benefit plans and assists clients with correcting benefit plan defects through DOL and IRS correction programs. Annika’s practice also involves advising on federal and state securities and tax laws, Section 16 issues, stock exchange listing rules and proxy advisor policies.
Annika also advises clients on a wide range of employee benefits and executive compensation matters in domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, including the benefits and compensation transition and integration matters associated with such transactions.
