Biography

Dr. Samuel Meyer-Oldenburg is an associate in Baker McKenzie's Global Employment & Compensation Group as well as the Global Immigration & Mobility Group, based in Frankfurt. He joined the Firm in August 2022. Previously, he studied at the University of Mainz and the University of Dijon in France, where he completed his LL.M in International Private Law and the Law of the European Union. During his legal clerkship at the Regional Court of Mainz, he worked for an international law firm in Frankfurt and for the legal department of an international glass manufacturer.

Practice Focus

Samuel advises clients engaged in all industries on all employment, social security and immigration law aspects of global employee mobility. He assists clients and their employees to obtain the necessary work-related visa and residence permits for short and long term placements. such as the Blue Card EU for highly-skilled workers, the ICT Card for intra-company transfers and business visa. His practice focus lies on immigration compliance aspects as well as advising clients on hiring key talent and moving employees globally to meet business needs.
