Biography
Seraphim has been consistently recognized as the best employment / labor law lawyer in Taiwan by Chamber and Legal 500, etc. and received the honor as Top 50 The Women Leaders 2022 by International Employment Lawyer.
Seraphim provides clients with consultation and training on a full range of labor law issues, including employment contracts (for management, general employees, and special employees), non-compete clauses, intellectual property agreements, employee handbooks or work rules, codes of conduct, overtime, severance (layoff), retirement, termination, workplace harassment, discrimination, bullying, occupational safety, labor-management meetings, and labor unions. In addition, Seraphim also specializes in intellectual property law and dispute resolution, having led numerous civil, administrative, and criminal litigation cases involving patents, copyrights, and trade secrets.
Seraphim led Baker McKenzie Taipei as the Managing Partner from 2021-2025, during which term the Firm received the award as Taiwan Law Firm of the Year in 2024 and 2025 consecutively, i.e., the best law firm in Taiwan, by Chambers Asia-Pacific. Moreover, according to Thomson Reuters’ Global Elite Law Firm Brand Index 2022, Baker McKenzie was ranked as the world’s strongest law firm brand for the 12th year in a row. Advised internationally renowned medical and biotechnology groups, hi-tech companies, financial institutions, restaurant chains, hypermarkets, and retailers on labor disputes, including settlement, mediations, lawsuits, union negotiations and industry-specific exemptions from labor law limitations.
